Context
The DAS in Management and Banking Operations is designed for experienced managers and specialists who wish to extend their cross-disciplinary knowledge of operations management and strategic planning, with a view to management, support and back-office banking functions.
It comprises two CAS courses of 12 ECTS credits each, plus a 6-credit dissertation:
- CAS Operations Management in Financial Services
- CAS Strategic Management in Financial Services
The program is designed to enable managers wishing to achieve a management position in the banking sector to take the two programs in succession.
This CAS course covers both fundamental and innovative themes in the investment field, as well as peripheral issues (financing, entrepreneurial services, wealth planning, etc.),

Key objectives
The knowledge and skills acquired in this DAS should enable the participant to acquire a tactical or strategic vision of how a bank or financial institution operates, so as to be able to:
- take part in an exploratory, informative or analytical discussion;
- exchange views with specialists or take note of their inputs (presentations, reports, etc.);
- make a well-founded decision, taking different parameters into account;
- assess the relevance of potential solutions and the state of the art of existing solutions;
- make justified proposals;
- monitor trends and the direction in which the theme is moving.

The speakers selected jointly by ISFB and HEG have been working in banking and finance, or in their respective fields, for many years, and are recognized as some of the best experts in the ISFB ecosystem in French-speaking Switzerland.

Please register directly on the Haute Ecole de Gestion Genève - HEG Genève website. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The DAS comprises two CAS of 12 ECTS credits and a dissertation of 6 credits:

Admission requirements
Holders of a Bachelor's degree or a qualification deemed equivalent by the Program Management. Holders of the ISFB Private Banking Certificate or the ISFB Retail & Corporate Banking Certificate may be admitted on an equivalent basis, subject to acceptance by the Program Management.
