2025 satisfaction survey: an integrated offering that is recognized and positively evaluated by the market

January 7, 2026

In 2025, the ISFB continued to roll out its Competence and Career Center model for banks and financial institutions in French-speaking Switzerland. Structured around four complementary areas of activity, its offering covers the entire professional life cycle of experts in the financial sector. The findings of the satisfaction survey conducted in December 2025 among all ISFB institutional members confirm the relevance of this positioning, the clear identification of ISFB activities, and a high overall level of satisfaction.

Continuing Education

Activities in the field of Continuing Education are the cornerstone of ISFB's offering. They include short courses, ISFB certificates, and CAS and DAS programs developed in academic partnership with HEG-Geneva, covering all banking and finance professions. The survey shows that these training programs are widely known and recognized by member institutions. Respondents clearly identify the ISFB as a leading player in the development of banking and finance skills, which is the primary stated motivation for using the ISFB. The satisfaction results highlight recognized andragogical quality, excellent transferability of content to the workplace, and operational quality that is viewed positively by the vast majority of respondents.

Certifications

The domain Certifications plays a key role in how the ISFB is perceived. The SAQ certification, recertification, and associated preparation programs are among the most clearly identified offerings in the survey. Respondents associate these activities with a high level of operational rigor, the quality of materials and processes, and an overall positive experience during the certification process. Satisfaction indicators particularly highlight the reliability of the organization, the clarity of the programs, the quality and diversity of the instructors, and the perceived contribution of these activities to maintaining professional standards in the banking and financial sector.

Career development

In 2025, activities in the field of Career Development continued to be structured around a comprehensive range of career support services in the banking and finance professions. The services offered, including technical and managerial coaching, skills assessments, mentoring, and career guidance, are recognized by a large majority of respondents as now being an integral part of the ISFB's offering. The survey highlights a very high level of satisfaction with these services, with respondents particularly emphasizing the sector-specific expertise of the consultants, the quality of individual support, and their in-depth knowledge of the realities of the banking and finance sector in French-speaking Switzerland.

The year 2025 also marked the launch of a new recruitment assistance service for institutional members. The survey results show that this service is still relatively unknown, which is consistent with its recent launch, but that it has been very well received overall by the institutions that are aware of it. Respondents express a high level of confidence in this scheme, particularly because of a clearly identified principle: the ISFB refrains from recruiting employees currently working for its members and positions this service exclusively as a lever to accelerate the placement of specialists benefiting from return-to-work assistance measures. This approach is seen as respectful of market balance, consistent with the ISFB's institutional mission, and useful for both member institutions and professionals in transition.

While satisfaction levels are also high in this area, the survey highlights several areas for improvement, which respondents have expressed in a constructive manner. These relate in particular to the overall clarity of the career development offering and the need to further enhance the visibility of certain recent initiatives. This feedback is valuable for the ISFB, confirming the relevance of this new area launched as part of the diversification strategy adopted by the ISFB in 2023, while highlighting the importance of continuously adjusting services with a view to ongoing improvement.

Network reach

The domain Network Outreach embodies the collective and institutional dimension of the ISFB. It brings together functional discussion groups, thematic meetings, and publications from the Observatory, as well as editorial output. The survey results show that these initiatives contribute to the visibility of the ISFB collective brand and its identification as a neutral, rigorous, and apolitical platform for analysis and information exchange in French-speaking Switzerland for the banking and finance sector. Respondents rate the reputation of the ISFB brand positively, as well as its perceived contribution to the competitiveness of the financial center and the quality and credibility of the analyses and exchanges offered.

High overall satisfaction and an institution that listens

The 2025 satisfaction survey highlights a high overall level of satisfaction, with a large majority of respondents saying they are satisfied or very satisfied with the ISFB's services. The criteria that received the highest ratings were the responsiveness of the teams, the operational quality of the services, the transferability of the skills acquired to professional practice, and the ISFB's institutional reputation. Based on these results, the ISFB reaffirms its commitment to remaining attentive to its ecosystem, carefully analyzing changing needs, and continuously adapting its programs. In 2025, the ISFB has thus consolidated its role as a leading player in the development of skills, certifications, careers, and the network of the French-speaking Swiss financial center.
